A looming event is set to reveal success strategies from online empires such as Virgin Mobile, ABC, Qantas Group, and Facebook.

The E-commerce Conference & Expo, developed by the organisers of 'Online Retailer', is set to kick off at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, from Tuesday March 25 til Thursday March 27, 2014.

The event aims to unite the digital, retail, travel, FMCG, media and publishing industries in a ‘digital festival’.

The program has been designed to educate businesses about the different technologies, trends and insights they need to ensure their success in the digital economy.

The event will comprise of a one day workshop and a two day multi-track conference targeted at entrepreneurs who are wanting to embrace change, transform or develop their digital skills and drive growth through e-commerce innovation.

Key speakers secured to present at the E-commerce Conference & Expo to date include:

  • StyleSeek CEO Tyler Spalding and Cartology.com Co-founder Tzvi Balbin: Adept at using the latest data technology to deduce psychographic information about customers and decipher what they likely to buy next.

  • Facebook Head of e-commerce, retail, automotive & QSR Stephen Scheeler: Part of a mammoth social media powerhouse. Scheeler will present the latest thinking about using the network for marketing and case studies of those businesses who have created winning campaigns and a glimpse of what’s in the works at Facebook in the near future.
