Dissh has opened its first retail location outside its home state of Queensland, in the Melbourne Chadstone shopping precinct.

The womenswear brand confirmed the opening as the start of a national retail rollout.

Chadstone was chosen in response to demand from Dissh customers, noting that 23% of its online sales came from Victoria in the last 12 months.

The Chadstone store features a marble monolith sales counter and layered rails, display areas and tactile product plinths.

The fitting rooms are concealed behind a portal entry, and each cubicle has three adjustable light settings – Golden Hour, Natural Light and After Hours.

“We’re elated to launch our first interstate store at Chadstone, the Fashion Capital,” Dissh owner and director Lucy Henry-Hicks said. “Our Victorian customers have been a fundamental part of our success over the last 12 months, and we look forward to establishing a more personal connection through our in-store experience.

“Chadstone represents a new era of Dissh, being the first store of many in our national rollout plan.”

Dissh sells a selection of womenswear categories, across dress, denim, linen, knitwear and accessories, with a colour palette that matches the Australian landscape. Dissh has shot its past campaigns at landmarks including Queensland’s Scenic Rim and, most recently, the sandscape at the Woromi Conservation Lands.

Following its Melbourne debut, Dissh also opened its seventh retail store in Noosa on November 23

The two new stores bring Dissh's total Australian store count to seven.
