Designworks, the business behind some of Australia’s largest brands, is seeking to expand.
Under the Brand Collective umbrella, Designworks designs, develops, produces and markets 15 owned and licensed brands across Australia.
These include Everlast, Mossimo, Bluey, Lonsdale, Umbro and Peter Rabbit.
Divisional GM Brooke Norton said the business is seeking to expand its offering with new brands in coming months.
“We are home to some of the world’s most loved brands and we are proud to be delivering international quality items to Australians every day - but there is room for more," she said.
“Our team and network of internal talent, knowledge and retail consumers allow us to successfully launch and grow brands within the Australian market in a way that few others could achieve."
Designworks is a major supplier to Rebel, David Jones, Myer, Coles and Spotlight, with a growing DTC e-commerce business, and expanded territories into South-East Asia.
As part of its growth strategy, the business has fully disclosed its Ethical Sourcing Program, which includes its sourcing policy and Modern Slavery Statements.
“We require full transparency from our suppliers, because we know our customers and in turn their customers expect this from us," Norton said. “We strive to create memorable brand moments that form daily memories for Australians now and for years to come."
The Designworks brand, which was established in 1993 and now turns over almost $200 million per annum, is approaching its 30th year of operation.
