Decjuba and the Lady Startup Academy have announced the finalists for its first 'Find Your Amazing' grant. 

The grant and accompanying program were launched on International Women's Day and will see one Australian or New Zealand female-founded start-up business receive the $20,000 grant. 

The applications for the grant closed on March 22, with consumers now able to vote for their favourite finalist. 

Speaking on the program, Decjuba CEO and owner Tania Austin (pictured) said she was thrilled to support female entrepreneurs. 

"Through Decjuba Foundation's partnership with Lady Startup, we will empower women to take their start-up businesses to the next level," she said upon launching the program. 

"As a female entrepreneur, I am so excited to create this opportunity and see women’s ideas and ambitions become a reality," she said. 

The five finalists will receive: a webinar Q&A experience with Decjuba CEO and owner Tania Austin and Lady Startup and Mamamia co-founder Mia Freedman, access to the Lady Startup Academy's Rocket Plan course, and the chance to be featured on Decjuba's 'The Space' blog and social media platforms.

Additionally, the four runner-up finalists will receive a $1000 grant.

The finalists are: 

  • Emotionology - Tabitha Lakeland, VIC 
    Born in late 2019 during the pandemic, Emotionology offers emotion support cards to help children identify, articulate, communicate and accept their emotions.
  • Evre - Maree Glading, NZ 
    New Zealand born skincare brand Evre promotes beauty positivity and mental wellbeing amongst teens.
  • Shape Tins - Tessa Manning, NSW 
    Shape Tins is a modern children's birthday cake book which comes with a set of four specially designed, versatile and unique cake tins - all made with recyclable packaging. 
  • The Daily Routine - Natalie Herscu, VIC 
    The Daily Routine is a sustainable essentials brand on a mission to eliminate plastic waste.
  • Wild Mingo - Candice Lester, VIC 
    Eco-conscious fitness brand Wild Mingo is all about bringing joy to your workout.

Voting is open now on the Find Your Amazing website and is open to April 12.
