Désordre boutique will open in Brisbane this summer, marking its fourth bricks-and-mortar location in less than two years.

The new 156sqm store will be located opposite the Calile Hotel, at 50 James Street in Fortitude Valley, and will stock over 25 of the core Désordre designers.

Given the warmer climate in Queensland, the new store will also include a curated edit of event dressing brands such as Poster Girl, Alex Perry, Magda Butrym as well as swimwear from brands including Sara Cristina, Cleonie.

Désordre boutique currently has two locations in Sydney, the flagship in Darlinghurst as well as a store in Bondi which opened in September 2020.

The Melbourne store, located in High St, Armadalem, opened recently in December 2021.

Director Shannon Thomas said the move to Brisbane was prompted by strong eCommerce sales to the market.

“Discovering and supporting emerging designers worldwide is why I do what I do.

"I get such a thrill when I find new, incredible talent, and then being able to share their showstopping designs with my customers is something that will never get old.

"I am the Désordre girl, when I trust my instinct and passions, this is where I have found the most success."

Designer exclusivity and strategic brand activations have formed a significant part of the wider business strategy, with most having an exclusive arrangement with Désordre in Australia.

Désordre was one of the first to stock global brands such as Area NYC, Amazuin, Aya Muse, LaQuan Smith, Monot, Nué, Eb Denim, Paris Georgia and Roberta Einer.
