Munro Footwear Group brand Colorado has launched a competition to gift 100 free pairs of shoes to those working on the frontlines during COVID-19.
The Suregrip Superheroes competition is open to those who are working on the frontlines in not only the medical field, but in other industries such as in supermarkets and hospitality.
Consumers can nominate a superhero on the Colorado Instagram page by tagging them in the comments and describing how they're making an impact on the frontlines.
Munro Footwear Group (MFG) GM of marketing Paul Baddeley said that the competition was a simple way to thank those who are continuing to work during this time.
"Colorado and MFG more widely wanted to show appreciation for all the workers out there in not only medical but other frontline industries.
"Colorado Suregrip is a range of shoes with slip resistance tested to Australian industry standards.
"We thought that gifting 100 free pairs of shoes up to the value of $170 each that have been designed for employees in these workplaces was the best way for us to show that appreciation and admiration.
"Retailers who stock Colorado such as Williams, Mathers, Mountfords and Styletread are also supporting this by promoting the initaitve and directing people to the Colorado Instagram," he said.
The competition will close Sunday April 19.
