Dita Von Teese lingerie has resurfaced under a new Australian lingerie company, AB Enterprises.
Its original manufacturer and distributor DCI Corporation plunged into administration last year.
AB Enterprises is headed by Helen Anderson, formerly the general manager of DCI Corporation.
Anderson is joined by creative director Lara Brockhurst, who first collaborated with Dita Von Teese to launch and grow the brand in Australia, the United States, the EU and the United Kingdom.
Anderson said AB Enterprises is set to take the intimates market by storm.
“We are looking forward to bringing women of Australia incredible intimates through the launch of AB Enterprises.
"With our expertise in the lingerie business and our creative innovation, we believe that we can provide the marketplace with what they have been missing."
AB Enterprises plan to develop a number of different brands that target different demographics.
Two new brands are currently in development and will launch later this year.
AB Enterprises will retain all technical skill in Australia with design, development and sampling being done at its Melbourne head office.
The company currently distributea Dita Von Teese Lingerie globally through major international retailers including Harrods, Selfridges, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom’s. Dita Von Teese Lingerie is available exclusively in Australia at Myer.
