Australian-owned online retailer Cettire has struck a deal with Italian luxury fashion house Zegna Group to directly integrate and sell Zegna products on its platform.
The direct integration with Zegna adds to Cettire’s existing assortment, which enables Cettire to offer a large range of luxury goods online, which sells around 400,000 products from more than 2,500 brands.
Cettire will offer its customers direct access to Zegna-branded products in all of Cettire’s markets, including Australia, while benefiting from the Zegna’s fulfilment capability, payment options and post-sales support.
Cettire founder and CEO Dean Mintz said: “Zegna is a world-renowned brand with a rich history originating in the heart of the luxury fashion industry. With this collaboration, Cettire enables Zegna’s products to be directly available to a new and fast-growing audience of luxury customers.”
The Zegna Group was founded in 1910 in Trivero, Italy by Ermenegildo Zegna. It designs, creates and distributes luxury menswear and accessories under the Zegna brand, as well as womenswear, menswear and accessories under the Thom Browne brand.
The Zegna Group manufactures and distributes the Italian-style fabrics and textiles through its Luxury Textile Laboratory Platform – which aims to preserve artisanal mills by producing Italian fabrics.
Meanwhile, Cettire recently announced a double-down in China through the deployment of multi-language features via the release of a Chinese language site. A Chinese language version of the mobile apps is expected to be released shortly, with additional languages released in due course.
"Localisation, enabled by our proprietary storefront software, is a key technology and strategic priority in the near term," Mintz said.
"The launch of multi-language features represents an important milestone in the execution of our strategy to localise Cettire’s platform. We are excited to commence deployment with Chinese language features as the Chinese-speaking audience is a large segment of the luxury market."
Cettire is an Australian-owned, online luxury fashion retail platform selling clothing, shoes and accessories from over 1300 international high-end fashion brands. In 2020 the company listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, with gross revenue for the 2021 financial year of AUD $124 million.
