Brexit: did Asos leave Aussie customers dry?
Asos has addressed concerns the plummeting pound forced it to shutter local operations.
Following Friday's Brexit decision, the online fashion giant closed website and mobile app extensions.
The decision caused specualtion among customers it had been taken offline due to the sharp fall in the British pound.
In a statement to Fairfax, the etailer blamed the shut down due to technical errors.
"This is because of a power outage at a third party data centre that hosts our servers.
"That's why it's taking longer to get back online.
"We are keeping our customers informed on social media."
