Big W and Ozsale are among the Aussie retailers taking part in Good360's Christmas campaign this year.

The Australian not-for-profit marketplace helps retailers support a range of charities, not-for-profits and disadvantaged schools, through the donation of excess goods.

"We think of ourselves as a matchmaker – we connect the right goods to the right people at the right time, all while helping businesses prevent unnecessary waste or unnecessary markdowns," Good360 founder and MD Alison Covington said.

"Christmas is a time of particular hardship for many vulnerable Australians.

"With a pandemic thrown into the mix this year, we want to help as many businesses help as many Aussie families as possible, so that they can have the Christmas they deserve," she said.

Since Good360's inception in 2015, the organisation has matched over $200 million worth of goods and over 25 million brand new items to people in need.

During the peak of its Covid Relief Campaign, Good360 was connecting 39 items per minute to people in need – a sharp increase from the prior 13 items per minute.

The not-for-profit supports 3000 charities and disadvantaged schools across the country, helping vulnerable Aussies to get access to products they need, while also offering retailers a sustainable avenue to reduce waste and do good in the community.

Alongside Big W and Ozsale, Lego and Harvey Norman are also taking part in the Christmas campaign.
