Angela Skrinos is making a sharp pivot to survive.

She is the founder of Raglan Fashion Warehouse Sales and MelbourneSecretSales.com.au.

Her physical warehouses are located in Melbourne and are used for clearing stock every weekend.

The website also enables Australians across the country to purchase fashion items at warehouse clearance prices.

Millions  of dollars worth of stock passes through her  physical warehouses and online site.

According to Skrinos, retail sales, especially fashion have declined.

As a result, she has changed direction and is now selling anything.

“Retail is a tough business for many brands in Australia at the moment,” Skrinos said.

“Only a few months ago we all suffered from the impact of the devastating bush fires and now the retail sector has been decimated by COVID-19. Retailers are falling over. They urgently need to shift their stock to stay afloat.

“While I have focused on fashion I am now selling all types of retail items.

She has also  started putting together Mystery Boxes for customers.

Priced at $100, they contain a mixture of fashion and beauty items valued at over $400.

Skrinos is now urging businesses to step forward with excess inventory.

“I’m now calling on wholesale companies and businesses across the country that need to move inventory to contact me so we can shift your items.

”I need more stock to clear. Please contact me. Let’s work together to get through this.

“We need more items to place into our Mystery Boxes. Australians are still in need of retail therapy – we just need to give it to them in a different way.

“My message to retailers is this – don’t close. Don’t give up. We can get through this. Contact me – let me help you move your stock. Some margin is better than no margin until things pick up. We will make it to the other side of this situation.”

Angela Skrinos is the Managing Director of Candy Stripes Australia, Raglan Fashion Warehouse Sales and Melbourne Secret Sales. Angela was also named the AusMumpreneur 2019 Fashion Business Winner in September this year.

In addition, Angela also manufactures her own children’s clothing brands, Candy Stripes, Ouch Clothing, and Cinnamon Girls, and distributes these Australia wide.
