Kogan sold more than one item per second on Black Friday to 63,000 unique customers, the business has revealed in a trading update.
On Black Friday alone, Kogan sold 124,000 items, while throughout Black Friday week, the eTailer sold 470,000 items to 253,000 unique customers.
Across Black Friday week, gross sales were greater than $50 million, while on Black Friday itself, Kogan recorded $15 million in gross sales - the biggest day in the business' history.
Founder Ruslan Kogan said that the record results show the importance of the Black Friday sales period.
"The Black Friday week saw some of the most extraordinary trading we have ever seen - with seven our of our top 10 days ever occurring during the Black Friday period.
"Customers have come to rely on Kogan to deliver their Christmas shopping needs, and we are proud to have satisfied well over a million happy shoppers this Christmas period," he said.
Kogan Marketplace and Matt Blatt also benefitted from the Black Friday sales week, generating $10 million and $1 million in sales respectively.
During the half, Kogan grew its active customer base to more than three million and added its largest acquisition - Mighty Ape - to its operations.
Due to the extreme growth in such a short period of time, Kogan added that the business is rapidly expanding its capabilities to meet the demand.
"We are proud to have delivered another record half while undertaking significant investments into the future of the business.
"Keeping up with the extreme demand is an engineering, supply chain, and logistical challenge that our team loves working on and solving.
"We are investing into building strong customer relationships by expanding our logistics capability, our marketing reach and our systems and infrastructure - giving us the foundation to continue delighting customers as the business further scales," he said.
Overall, the Kogan Group gross sales grew by more than 96%, while gross profit increased by more than 120%.
EBITDA grew by more than 140% and Kogan closed the period with $78.9 million in cash.
