SYDNEY: A new boutique specialising in exclusive international collections is set to shake up luxury shopping strip Castlereagh Street.
Independent boutique V.Lotus has launched into the market with a range of daywear, eveningwear and cocktail dresses sourced from ten contemporary Vietnamese designers.
Exclusive brands include Ha Le, which specialises in knitwear and leather ensembles; Ha Thuc Nhat Minh, which is known for its structural cuts and intricate detailing; and Ha Truong, which offers traditional Vietnamese garments with a European edge.
All garments are produced in a limited quantity, with as little as one style offered per size 8, 10 and 12. Prices for daywear range from $200 to 900, eveningwear from$500 to $900 and cocktail from $300 to $600.
The collections operate to Australian seasons, with the first summer drop landing in August.
Founder and former model Nikki Hoang said the store has a strong point-of-difference from other retailers in the Sydney market, which specialise in major local and international brand houses.
"The reality is we can offer much more to Australian fashion."
V.Lotus is located at 139 Castlereagh Street, Sydney.
